Deluxe Merino Sheep’s Wool Massage Table Cover & Headrest Face Pillow Cover — Therapeutic Comfort & Energetic Support

Organic Merino Wool • Natural Insulation • Moisture‑Balancing Comfort

Transform your treatment space into a warm, nurturing, healing environment with our Deluxe Merino Sheep’s Wool Massage Table Cover and Headrest Face Pillow Cover. Crafted from premium organic Merino wool, this set enhances every session by providing natural warmth, breathable cushioning, and the energetic softness that helps clients relax more deeply.

Sheep’s wool is one of nature’s most intelligent fibres,  a natural insulator, moisture balancer, and therapeutic support material used in therapeutic wool products and sheep wool medical products worldwide. It helps maintain core temperature, encourages circulation, and creates a deeply grounding experience that clients feel immediately.

Why Massage Therapists Love Wool

Natural Insulator — Maintains Core Body Temperature

Wool keeps clients at their natural 37°C, preventing chills and helping the body stay relaxed throughout the session.

Promotes Circulation & Healing

Wool encourages increased blood flow and reduces inflammation, helping your massage work penetrate more deeply into the tissues.

Amplifies the Results of Your Massage

When clients turn from prone to supine, the gentle warmth of wool helps the treatment “settle in,” extending therapeutic effects.

Energetic Benefits

Wool vibrates at one of the highest natural frequencies on Earth. Clients consistently describe sessions on wool as more grounding, calming, and restorative.

Soft, Cushioned, and Nurturing

The plush wool pile provides gentle padding that reduces pressure points and enhances comfort for clients of all ages and body types.

Headrest Face Pillow Cover — One Size Fits All

Fits headrests 10–12 inches wide. Measure left to right and top to bottom for best fit.

Therapeutic Properties of Sheep’s Wool

  • Promotes healing, relaxation & restoration

  • Naturally nurturing, clients feel held and supported

  • Negative‑ion fibre helps release stress

  • Regulates body temperature at 37°C (temperature‑regulating medical wool)

  • Provides cushioning for pressure‑sensitive areas

  • Reduces pain, swelling & discomfort

  • Draws moisture away from the body (moisture‑wicking medical wool)

  • Breathable, antimicrobial & hypoallergenic

Machine Washable & Easy to Care For

  • Machine washable

  • Machine dry up to 85% (no higher,  wool loves moisture)

  • Do not over‑dry; this can tighten or “knobble” the wool

  • If over‑dried, simply brush with a metal brush to restore the soft, cloud‑like texture

What Is the Difference Between Sheepskin and Sheep Wool?

  • Sheepskin includes the hide with the wool still attached

  • Sheep wool is the fibre shorn from the sheep and used to create breathable, washable wool fabric

Our massage table covers are made from sheep wool fabric, not hide,  making them soft, flexible, and fully machine washable.

What Is Sheep Wool Fabric?

Our wool fabric is made from:

  • Real wool fibres (sheared from the sheep)

  • A soft nylon grid

  • A medical‑grade acrylic stabilizer

The wool is “knitted” into the grid and stabilized to create a flat, plush surface that looks like sheepskin, but without the hide, making it washable, durable, and ideal for therapeutic use.

General Care

  • Expect light shedding at first, normal

  • Air‑fluff for 5 minutes (no heat) to remove loose fibres

  • Keep away from high heat and direct sunlight

  • Wool may “clump” over time,  this does not affect performance

  • Brush after laundering if you prefer a fluffier look

Washing Instructions

  • Machine wash on delicate in cool/lukewarm water (up to 70°C)

  • Use wool soap with lanolin (e.g., Eucalan)

  • Air dry or tumble with NO heat

  • Remove from dryer at 85% dry

  • Spot clean with warm water with Eucalan or  disinfecting soap

  • Do not bleach

Wool is naturally antimicrobial and does not require frequent washing. To freshen, hang outside in moist air (out of sunlight); wool will absorb moisture and release it indoors, naturally refreshing itself.

100% Natural

Wool is a completely natural fiber, produced year-round by over 68 million sheep in Australia. These sheep thrive on a simple diet of grass, water, fresh air, and sunshine.

Biodegradable

Once wool fibers are discarded, they naturally break down in soil within a few years, gradually returning beneficial nutrients to the ground.

Naturally Breathable

Merino wool is highly breathable, with fibers that can absorb significant amounts of moisture vapor and release it into the air through evaporation.

Wrinkle Resistant

On a microscopic scale, each Merino wool fiber acts like a tiny spring, bouncing back to its original shape after being bent. This natural elasticity helps Merino garments resist wrinkling.

100% Renewable

Australian sheep grow a new fleece annually, making wool a fully renewable natural fiber.
