Sheep Wool Bed Socks

550 g Wool Pile • Velcro Closure • Warm, Dry, Breathable Comfort for Nighttime

If you struggle with cold feet at bedtime, our Sheep Wool Bed Socks are a must‑have. Made with a lighter 550‑gram wool pile, they offer the perfect balance of warmth, breathability, and softness,  keeping your feet warm without overheating.

Sheep’s wool generates gentle, natural warmth that helps muscles stay relaxed throughout the night. This stable microclimate reduces morning stiffness, supports circulation, and promotes deeper, more restorative sleep.

A secure Velcro closure ensures the socks stay in place while you sleep, so you wake up warm, dry, and comfortable.

For medical needs such as heel off‑loading, please see our Medical Wool Footwear made with 850‑gram wool pile.

Why Wool Bed Socks Work So Well

Natural Temperature Regulation

Sheep’s wool maintains a stable microclimate,  warm in winter, cool in summer,  keeping muscles relaxed all night long.

Moisture Absorption

Wool absorbs 30–40% of its weight in moisture and releases it into the air, preventing dampness, skin vulnerability, and bacterial growth.

Antimicrobial & Antibacterial

Wool naturally resists bacteria, mold, and fungus, keeping your feet fresh and healthy.

Grounding / Earthing

Sheepskin and sheep wool help bring a healthy balance to your magnetic field, supporting nervous‑system calm and overall well‑being.

Nervous‑System Comfort

Wool’s breathable warmth and soft tactile input help soothe the nervous system, ideal for people who struggle with cold feet, nighttime tension, or restless sleep.

General Care

  • Expect light shedding at first,  this is normal

  • Air‑fluff in the dryer (no heat) for 5 minutes to remove loose fibres

  • Keep away from high heat and direct sunlight

  • Wool may “clump” over time, this does not affect performance

  • Brush with a metal brush after washing if you prefer a fluffier look

With proper care, your wool products will last many, many years.

Washing Instructions

  • Machine wash on delicate in cool/lukewarm water (up to 70°C)

  • Use wool soap containing lanolin (e.g., Eucalan)

  • Air dry recommended

  • You may tumble dry without heat to fluff

  • Remove at 85% dry,  remaining moisture dissipates quickly

  • Spot clean with warm water (up to 70°C) with eucaln soap or disinfecting soap

  • Do not bleach

Wool is naturally antimicrobial and does not require frequent laundering. To freshen, hang outside in moist air, out of direct sunlight.

100% Natural

Wool is a completely natural fiber, produced year-round by over 68 million sheep in Australia. These sheep thrive on a simple diet of grass, water, fresh air, and sunshine.

Biodegradable

Once wool fibers are discarded, they naturally break down in soil within a few years, gradually returning beneficial nutrients to the ground.

Naturally Breathable

Merino wool is highly breathable, with fibers that can absorb significant amounts of moisture vapor and release it into the air through evaporation.

Wrinkle Resistant

On a microscopic scale, each Merino wool fiber acts like a tiny spring, bouncing back to its original shape after being bent. This natural elasticity helps Merino garments resist wrinkling.

100% Renewable

Australian sheep grow a new fleece annually, making wool a fully renewable natural fiber.
