Sheep’s Wool Daily Routine Slippers

1" Wool Pile • Natural Temperature Regulation • Pressure Relief • Medical/Therapeutic Use

Our Sheep’s Wool Daily Routine Slippers are designed to support healthy skin, circulation, and comfort throughout the day. The dense 1-inch wool pile naturally regulates body temperature to 37°C, keeping your muscles warm and relaxed so your body can focus on healing and regeneration.

Wool absorbs 30–40% of its weight in moisture, releasing it into the air instead of trapping humidity against the skin. Synthetic materials hold moisture, creating the perfect environment for irritation, bacterial growth, and skin breakdown. Wool keeps the skin dry, balanced, and protected.

Sheep’s wool is antimicrobial and antibacterial, making these slippers ideal for individuals with sensitive skin, circulation concerns, or early signs of redness. The dense wool fibres provide pressure redistribution, off‑loading, and ulcer prevention, helping reduce the risk of skin breakdown when circulation is compromised.

The natural loft of wool gently stimulates blood flow, ideal for:

  • Poor circulation

  • Diabetes

  • Arthritis

  • Long periods of sitting or standing

6. Healing Support

Wool’s moisture‑wicking and antibacterial properties help create a microclimate that supports healing of existing sores or ulcers.

General Care

  • Expect light shedding at first; this is normal

  • Air‑fluff in the dryer (no heat) for 5 minutes to remove loose fibres

  • Keep away from high heat and direct sunlight

  • Wool may “clump” over time, but this does not affect performance, simply brush

  • Brush with a metal brush after washing if you prefer a fluffier look

With proper care, your wool products will last many, many years.

Washing Instructions

  • Machine wash on delicate in cool/lukewarm water (up to 70°C)

  • Use wool soap with lanolin (e.g., Eucalan)

  • Air dry recommended

  • You may tumble dry without heat to fluff

  • Remove at 85% dry, remaining moisture will dissipate quickly

  • Spot clean with warm water (up to 70°C) and disinfecting soap if there is concern for bacteria.

  • Do not bleach

Wool is naturally antimicrobial and does not require frequent washing. To freshen, hang outside in moist air, out of direct sunlight.

100% Natural

Wool is a completely natural fiber, produced year-round by over 68 million sheep in Australia. These sheep thrive on a simple diet of grass, water, fresh air, and sunshine.

Biodegradable

Once wool fibers are discarded, they naturally break down in soil within a few years, gradually returning beneficial nutrients to the ground.

Naturally Breathable

Merino wool is highly breathable, with fibers that can absorb significant amounts of moisture vapor and release it into the air through evaporation.

Wrinkle Resistant

On a microscopic scale, each Merino wool fiber acts like a tiny spring, bouncing back to its original shape after being bent. This natural elasticity helps Merino garments resist wrinkling.

100% Renewable

Australian sheep grow a new fleece annually, making wool a fully renewable natural fiber.
